Can you believe Rosie is 2 months old?

Ok, so I have tons of excuses for not blogging. The two biggest reasons include me going out five of the last 9 evenings (book club, two nights with two of my favorite girls Meg and Sarah, one at the SYTYCD tour and last night I was out with my husband) and spending the other evenings reading the Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins. I could not put the books down. I started it last Thursday and finished the third book on Thursday morning. Mostly the books are at fault since every free moment I had was spent reading.

Rosie is still doing great. She is two months. She had her two month appointment and weighed in at 9.6 pounds. She is a peanut and growing nicely! She got two shots and some oral meds for the rotavirus. She was not pleased. She also started smiling. She was smiling in the photo below till the flash came on. This happened about eight times and then I gave up.

Jimmy continues to grow and kick butt. He is communicating with his signs and his words are a tad clearer. I don’t think anyone else would understand him, but Marc and I do.

Isa is loving life. I have some pictures and most of them are of her. I will let them speak for themselves.

Here Isa and Jimmy are modeling their big sis and big bro shirts. They would not stay around for Rosie to enter the picture with her lil’ sis shirt.

The other day Isa and I were watching Project Runway together and she mentioned that she wanted to be one of them. I was pretty excited and told her that was great and that we can learn to sew together. Then she clarified, she wants to be the one that wears the clothes. So here is Isa practicing her modeling skills.

We were invited to the first annual caramel apple dipping party. They apples were yummy and Jimmy got a great workout. There were two dogs, one bigger than Jimmy and one smaller. Jimmy was a little scared of the bigger dog and so he was constantly turning and crawling away. He ate about three times what he normally does at dinner. I hope he sleeps well tonight.

  4. I would have jumped to the same conclusion about Project Runway. I'm already planning the nerdlet's first sewing machine purchase (my MIL thinks I'm crazy) and I love that my bear cub loves to play with fabric.

That picture of Isa in the middle of her classmates is great. I think I like it so much because it doesn't look like she is trying to grow up to fast (like the model one).
