Jimmy is 36 inches tall and weighs 27 lbs and 13 ounces. On the Ds chart he’s in the 70th % for height. He’s not on the typical chart.
Jimmy started walking 9 months ago and now he’s climbing anything he can get his hands on. He prefers a spotter because he’s a smart little man but he will forge forward if help can’t be found. (Jimmy’s not looking like his striking self because it was super hot on this day. I had to force him into the shade and bribe him with food to keep him there for a bit.)
Here he is signing help. He says, “help you” when he wants help!
He just started swinging on his belly. He’s following in his big sister’s footsteps!
He loves going to the pool and watching the big kids play.
He loves being a handsome man. It’s pretty easy for him!
He got Wyatt from Super Why for his birthday. He was pretty happy about that!
Jimmy is pretty awesome. He can read 150 words. He can talk but he chooses not to most of the time. I have noticed recently that he sings to himself more, and if he’s watching Signing Time with Rosie he will say every 5th word or so of the show the entire show. He has Signing Time memorized and I feel like his reaction time is speeding up. He asks for help or for food or for water regularly. He pushes Rosie away when she’s annoying and gets super mad if you turn off Super Why mid-show. I try to avoid that at all cost. That being said, a few honks of the nose and a song brings him back to his old happy self. We had Jimmy say, “I am four” a million times. It sounds like “I’m or”.
Jimmy’s a great kid with a ton of potential to change the world for the better every single day!
