No, I do it!

“No, I do it” is what I hear from Rosie a million times a day. It’s pretty cute but mostly it drives me crazy. She does do some amazing things like answer questions. A simple yes or no or ok answer is all we want and she gives us great joy when she does just that. She accidently bites her own fingers which brings about lots of tears. She’s got the subject – verb sentence down. “Daddy work, Jimmy school, Isa school, Jimmy sleep…she amazes me with her new words everyday.

Rosie took a picture of herself today.

This picture we took waiting for Jimmy to get home off the bus. She kept saying, “Jimmy bus, where is the bus” in the cutest voice ever! That’s chocolate on her chin.

Rosie was so excited when the bus came that she fell and skinned her knees and I missed the photo of Jimmy getting off the bus.

But I still got a cute one of Jimmy!

We went to the park later and Jimmy and Rosie climbed all of the same things and went down the same slides. They were having a great time playing together!

Where was Isa?…spying on older girls and then eventually making friends with them and singing some Carly Rae with them!

Isa had a lemonade sale and invited some friends to help on a NU game day. They made forty something dollars. One guy got two lemonades (25 cents each) for ten dollars and refused change. A few people gave a dollar and got nothing. The girls were pretty charming!

I took Rosie to gymnastics. She loves it! She gets to run around the gym and climb on anything she wants!

She loves the rings!

She is full on swinging!

Jimmy started school this week! He did great. His class only has four boys, one teacher, and two aides.  He loves it and smiles the whole way to the bus and when he gets off. I love it!

Labor Day Weekend!

This labor day was one of my favorites ever. We had no set plans. We made things up as we went along. Marc took out the bikes, we rode them to Lovelace Park, we went to the Morton Arboretum, and visited Jonny and Lisa. All in all a great weekend with lots of down time.

Isa is ready to ride!  The helmet is a hand-me-down from a classmate’s little sister – Isa was a little embarrassed she has such a tiny head.  We passed it on to Jimmy now.  DSC05931

Jimmy and Rosie switched places.  No one likes the trailer.   DSC05938

The Morton Arboretum.  They called this a “Tree House” – I guess, because it is near a tree.  Isa was not convinced.
